Clare Edwards, Ph.D Licensed Psychologist
Dr. Edwards is a Licensed Psychologist specializing in child, adolescent, and adult psychotherapy and assessment. She earned her Ph.D. In Counseling Psychology with a specialization in couples and family psychology from Ball State University and completed her pre-doctoral internship at the Virginia Treatment Center for Children in Richmond, VA. Dr. Edwards went on to complete a post-doctoral fellowship with the University of Florida Division of Medical Psychology and has been in private practice in the Orlando area for the past two years. In her work with children, adolescents, and adults, Dr. Edwards uses an integrative approach drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and family systems theory to guide conceptualization, treatment planning, and intervention. She treats a variety of conditions, with particular expertise in anxiety disorders (OCD, social anxiety, phobias, etc.), ADHD, child behavior problems, trauma, parent-child relationship concerns, and family conflict. Additionally, Dr. Edwards provides psychological and psycho-educational evaluations for diagnostic clarification, ADHD, learning disorders, and intellectual functioning. She lives in Orlando with her husband and young daughter and enjoys hiking, yoga, cooking, and the occasional Netflix binge in her free time.
